Job Description
Optimus Bank is currently seeking Marketing Associates to drive customer acquisition and deliver top-tier sales performance. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring efficient onboarding of new customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and ensure alignment with the bank’s focus segment
- Actively promote and sell banking products to new and existing customers
- Obtain and verify all necessary documentation for account opening
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all forms filled by customers
- Handle customer onboarding, including account funding and debit card requests
- Build strong client relationships through regular visits and calls
- Monitor customer accounts daily, flagging unusual activities
- Engage in field marketing and tactical sales activities such as market storms
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and budgets
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports
- Participate in periodic performance review sessions
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma)
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in sales or financial services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic customer service and client relationship skills
- Target-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
