Job Description

Fan Milk Nigeria is hiring a Marketing Project Manager to lead its sponsorship initiative for the upcoming AFCON tournament. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring brand visibility, engaging both employees and consumers, and maximizing returns on investment.

 

You will coordinate across teams, manage timelines and deliverables, and leverage sponsorship rights to strengthen Fan Milk’s market presence during Africa’s biggest football event.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end execution of the AFCON sponsorship strategy.
  • Ensure strategic alignment between Danone/Fan Milk brand objectives and sponsorship activation.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, agencies, and internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Optimize brand visibility, fan engagement, and internal participation.
  • Analyze sponsorship data and report performance metrics.
  • Leverage digital assets, broadcast partnerships, and hospitality programs.
  • Drive creativity and innovation in campaign execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in sports sponsorship, brand partnerships, or event marketing.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Deep understanding of sponsorship rights, sports marketing, and activation strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with media, agencies, and project management teams.
  • Familiarity with digital sponsorship tools, broadcasting, and fan engagement platforms.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is an added advantage.
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for sports and brand building.
