The African Network for Climate Action (ANFCA) is inviting applications from qualified professionals to join as External Consultants in select African countries. These roles are part of impactful climate adaptation and sustainable urban development projects carried out in collaboration with city authorities
Key Focus Areas
- Government policy and regulatory advisory
- Inclusive financial ecosystem strengthening
- Sustainable agriculture development
- Responsible technology governance and adoption
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between MSC’s project teams and local city stakeholders
- Coordinate on-the-ground project activities, meetings, and stakeholder engagements
- Conduct data collection, baseline assessments, and public consultations
- Represent MSC in official workshops, public forums, and meetings

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Public Policy, or related disciplines
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in climate/sustainability consulting or coordination with city or government bodies
- Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Must be currently residing in the respective country and city listed above
