Job Description
We are recruiting for the role of Junior IT Officer to support IT infrastructure and systems across the organization. The role involves providing Level 1 IT support, managing IT assets, and ensuring seamless IT operations in alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 IT support for infrastructure-related issues.
- Manage end-user computing (hardware, software deployment, endpoint security).
- Support network operations (LAN, WAN, Voice, Wireless) and security.
- Handle server operations, application support, data backup, and disaster recovery.
- Manage IT infrastructure projects and support other IT-related initiatives (SAP, TWMS, ePMS, PIMS, etc.).
- Oversee IT administration (procurement, outsourcing, training, documentation, asset management, and life cycle management).
- Maintain physical security systems (CCTV, access control, and electric fence).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and server management.
- Familiarity with hardware/software deployment and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of LAN, WAN, and wireless networking.
- Experience with data backup and disaster recovery (an advantage).
- Exposure to CCTV and access control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of IT administration (procurement, documentation, and asset management).
