Job Description
1. Logistics Officer
The Logistics Officer will provide logistics support and oversee processes that ensure effective supply chain management. The role involves coordinating procurement, warehousing, shipping, and compliance functions to support the company’s operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, receive, and stock all ordered items.
- Manage packing, warehousing, and storage for shipments.
- Liaise with suppliers, retailers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
- Research shipping methods and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Monitor stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
- Prepare logistics reports and identify process improvements.
- Coordinate customs clearance and import permits.
- Maintain strong relationships with customs, shipping agents, and port authorities.
- Ensure compliance with tax, duty, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply QHSE, NDPR, and ISO standards to all logistics activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation, or Engineering.
- Postgraduate degree or certifications in logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
- 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, warehousing, and import policies.
- Good negotiation, time management, and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of taxation, regulatory norms, and commercial law.
2. Senior Discipline Electrical Engineer
The Senior Discipline Electrical Engineer will support the SME (Electrical) by providing high-level expertise and professional advice on the design, construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical assets at Egbin Power Plc. The role ensures asset integrity, safety, and sustainable performance of the 1.32GW power plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engineering standards for electrical assets.
- Ensure compliance with SON and other regulatory requirements.
- Support digitalization and decarbonization initiatives.
- Maintain the Critical Equipment Register (CER) and asset integrity framework.
- Assist in preventive and reliability-centered maintenance planning.
- Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses on electrical systems.
- Monitor asset performance through KPIs, audits, and reviews.
- Contribute to budget planning for inspection and maintenance programs.
- Ensure QHSE compliance and data protection practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a large-scale power plant or with OEMs.
- At least 2 years in engineering design.
- Strong knowledge of HV & LV systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, and electrical services.
- Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards.
- Membership in IEEE, IET, or similar professional bodies is an advantage.
- Expertise in at least three areas: Maintenance, Operation, Design Engineering, Asset Integrity, Technical Assurance, or Quality Management.
