Job Description

The eHealth Africa (eHA) Graduate Internship Program 2025 aims to promote employability by providing practical work experience for recent graduates and university students in transition.

This internship also serves as a platform to develop leadership competencies and increase women’s participation in decision-making roles within the health and development sector.

Selected interns will gain hands-on exposure to ongoing projects, mentorship opportunities, and access to cross-functional teams working on impactful health initiatives across Nigeria.

Available Positions:

1. Intern, Research & Learning (Kano)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination and tracking of departmental projects and milestones.
  • Assist in developing research reports, briefs, and technical documentation.
  • Provide editorial and technical support for publications and manuscripts.
  • Support data cleaning, organization, and visualization for reports.
  • Liaise with teams across departments for timely submission of reports and proposals.
  • Maintain internal research databases and trackers.

2. Intern, Operations (EOC) – Katsina / Sokoto

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data gathering and analysis from internal and external sources.
  • Organize and facilitate departmental meetings and conferences.
  • Manage filing systems, correspondence, and office logistics.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
  • Support project coordination and communication between technical teams.

3. Intern, GIS/Data Analytics – Abuja / Kano

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support data analytics using tools like Excel, Python, and R.
  • Create maps and GIS visualizations to support project deliverables.
  • Contribute to data-driven reporting and system improvements.
  • Assist in developing GIS-related solutions for the Product & Services department.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Only qualified female candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience is an advantage.
  • NYSC Certificate (Completion, Exemption, or Exclusion) is mandatory.
  • Strong communication, research, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in health, technology, or development work.
