1. Document Controller
Job Description:
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing company documents, operational manuals, and technical information. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, proper document distribution, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control fleet manuals, company procedures, and operational instructions.
- Coordinate all library activities including cataloguing, shelving, and document dispatch.
- Develop and maintain a centralized documentation control system.
- Create and manage an electronic database for manuals and technical data.
- Distribute updated technical information to relevant departments.
- Manage cockpit libraries onboard aircraft.
- Notify the Quality and Safety Manager about documentation inspections.
- Participate in quality audits and safety inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- HND or B.Sc. in any discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in document control or administrative role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be a team player and able to work under pressure.
- Integrity and attention to detail are essential.
2. Quality & Safety Officer
Job Description:
The Quality and Safety Officer ensures regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational safety within United Nigeria Airlines. The position involves conducting audits, hazard identification, and safety training to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality audits and safety inspections using approved checklists.
- Identify non-conformities and track corrective actions.
- Liaise with departmental heads on safety compliance matters.
- Review and update manuals to meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct quality and safety training sessions for staff.
- Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and maintain safety records.
- Coordinate Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings.
- Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and emergency response plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or B.Sc. in any discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in quality, safety, or compliance roles.
- Strong teamwork, integrity, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to perform under pressure.
