Job Description
Fan Milk Plc is seeking a Packaging Manager to lead packaging operations, ensuring products are delivered in safe, attractive, and compliant packaging that enhances shelf life, supports manufacturing efficiency, and aligns with global Danone standards.
The ideal candidate will manage packaging equipment, drive sustainability initiatives, and collaborate across departments to maintain quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of packing machines and equipment.
- Ensure packaging materials preserve product freshness and comply with food safety standards.
- Implement sustainable, cost-effective, and waste-reducing packaging solutions.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, labelling standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Drive innovation in packaging materials and technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure packaging efficiency and compliance.
- Minimize downtime and enhance production workflow.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across packaging operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Tech/HND in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant science fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating or managing packaging machines/equipment.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to oversee operations, manage stakeholders, and drive technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple levels of the organization.
- Experience with eco-friendly or advanced packaging technologies is an added advantage.
