Job Description
Bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and specialty items.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Contribute to menu development and new recipe creation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-sanitized baking station.
Monitor ingredient levels and request supplies when needed.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet production demands.
Work efficiently during peak periods while maintaining quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef (hotel or upscale bakery experience is an advantage).
Strong understanding of dough preparation, pastry techniques, and baking equipment.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and also innovate.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and hygiene practices.
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary training or certification is a plus.
