Job Description
ROTIC Aluminium Extrusion is seeking an experienced Shift Production Manager to oversee daily shopfloor operations across extrusion, aging, and powder coating units. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while driving continuous improvement and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all production activities during assigned shifts
- Allocate manpower and monitor operator productivity and performance
- Track production output and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Enforce safety, quality, and housekeeping standards on the shopfloor
- Coordinate effectively with logistics, maintenance, and quality assurance teams
- Reduce downtime and material wastage through lean manufacturing practices
- Prepare and maintain accurate shift reports and handover documentation
- Train, guide, and mentor operators on SOPs and quality requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or BSc in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing shift leadership role
- Strong understanding of shopfloor and production operations
- Excellent team coordination, discipline enforcement, and problem-solving skills
- Results-driven mindset with strong attention to safety, efficiency, and output targets
