We are seeking a technically skilled FTTH Support Engineer to provide first and second-line support for Fiber-to-the-Home services. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot connectivity issues, manage service activations, and ensure reliable, high-quality internet services for both residential and business customers.
Job Description
Troubleshooting & Support
Diagnose and resolve FTTH connectivity issues
Configure and troubleshoot ONU/OLT, Wi-Fi, and fiber signal problems
Provide both on-site and remote technical support to customers
Service Fulfilment
Validate Fibre Access Terminal (FAT) readiness
Process FTTH service activations
Maintenance & Network Operations
Perform routine fiber splicing and repairs
Conduct fiber testing using OTDR and power meters
Documentation
Maintain accurate records of service orders, repairs, and customer interactions
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field
Experience
2–3 years’ experience in FTTH, broadband support, or field engineering
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of FTTH, PON, TCP/IP
Proficiency with fiber testing tools (OTDR, power meter)
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving ability
Work Conditions
Willingness to work on-site, outdoors, and on on-call rotations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
First-call resolution rate
Reduction in repeat faults
Timely completion of service orders
