Job Description
The Data Analytics Fellow will provide technical support to Nigeria’s National Malaria Program (NMP), focusing on surveillance data management, analysis, and capacity building.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze malaria surveillance data
- Develop interactive dashboards and monthly performance reports
- Support program evaluations and data-driven decision-making processes
- Deliver data analytics training to NMP staff and partners
- Support Sub-National Tailoring (SNT) data processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen reporting systems
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in:
- Public Health
- Epidemiology
- Data Science Or related field
- Experience in data management, analysis, and visualization (R preferred)
- Strong reporting, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DHIS2
- Knowledge of GitHub
- Experience facilitating training sessions
