Job Description

The Data Analytics Fellow will provide technical support to Nigeria’s National Malaria Program (NMP), focusing on surveillance data management, analysis, and capacity building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze malaria surveillance data
  • Develop interactive dashboards and monthly performance reports
  • Support program evaluations and data-driven decision-making processes
  • Deliver data analytics training to NMP staff and partners
  • Support Sub-National Tailoring (SNT) data processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen reporting systems

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in:
  1. Public Health
  2. Epidemiology
  3. Data Science Or related field
  • Experience in data management, analysis, and visualization (R preferred)
  • Strong reporting, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DHIS2
  • Knowledge of GitHub
  • Experience facilitating training sessions
