Job Description
The Commercial Relationship Management Officer will be responsible for driving business growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering financial solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Execute branch sales strategies aligned with local market conditions
- Acquire new customers and grow existing client portfolios
- Promote and cross-sell banking products and services
- Conduct client visits and deliver sales presentations
Risk Management
- Assess lending risks in line with bank policies
- Ensure compliance with KYC and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate loan applications and collateral documentation
Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial statements and cash flow projections
- Conduct credit assessments and support loan processing
- Contribute to deposit and loan growth targets
Customer Service
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints
- Provide tailored financial solutions to clients
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with branch teams to achieve targets
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in any discipline
- 3 – 8 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or banking
- Professional certification (e.g., CIBN) is an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Digital literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Leadership and teamwork skills
