Job Description
The Distributor Partner Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with distribution partners to ensure effective execution of sales and trade marketing strategies. The role focuses on driving performance, improving market presence, and ensuring alignment with Red Bull’s brand and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with distribution partners (DP) to develop and implement trade marketing plans and commercial strategies
- Support achievement of agreed sales targets and KPIs within assigned regions
- Train and coach DP sales teams both in the field and in structured sessions
- Ensure implementation of “Perfect Store” standards across all sales channels
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution and identify growth opportunities
- Track performance metrics and provide reports to management and partners
- Identify gaps in distribution and execution, and implement corrective action plans
- Lead monthly business review meetings with DP sales teams
- Manage POS materials, inventory tracking, and proper usage across markets
- Support internal reporting across financial sales, trade sales, and stock flow
- Utilize business intelligence tools to generate insights and improve performance
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Ensure compliance with company standards in all trade and marketing activities
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND)
Experience:
- At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and analytical thinking
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven ability to execute trade marketing strategies successfully
- Strong communication, presentation, and training skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and competitive landscape
- Creative mindset with a proactive and outgoing personality
- Fluency in English
Additional Requirement:
- Good knowledge of Abuja, Lokoja, and Jos market environments
