Job Description
The Quality Assurance / HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring product quality standards and maintaining health, safety, and environmental compliance within the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished products
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Implement and monitor safety procedures across the workplace
- Maintain accurate quality and safety documentation
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement in production quality and safety systems
- Prepare reports on quality assurance and HSE performance
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or BSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in QA or HSE (preferably manufacturing)
- Strong knowledge of quality control and safety regulations
- Good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- HSE professional certification is an added advantage
