Job Description
CWAY Foods and Beverages Nigeria is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Control / Audit Officer to join its operations team in Enugu. The successful candidate will support the company’s risk management and internal control processes by conducting audits across finance, warehouse, production, and sales operations.
The role requires strong knowledge of internal auditing procedures, inventory reconciliation, compliance monitoring, and reporting within an FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across finance, warehouse, production, and sales units
- Ensure compliance with company policies and GMP/FSSC 22000 standards
- Review internal controls and recommend improvements to reduce operational risks
- Verify approvals, documentation, and proper record-keeping across departments
- Carry out inventory checks and stock reconciliation exercises
- Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and risk assessments
- Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Audit Officer in an FMCG or food & beverage company
- Good understanding of internal control systems and audit procedures
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
