Job Description
Mantrac Nigeria Limited is recruiting qualified graduates for its 2026 Graduate Trainee Programme. The Service Trainee role is designed for young engineering graduates interested in building a technical career in heavy equipment servicing, maintenance, and repair operations.
Successful candidates will work closely with engineers and technical supervisors to support equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, engine repairs, and customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble engines and components as directed by supervisors
- Clean and inspect parts and equipment surfaces
- Assist engineers with assembly, replacement, and adjustment of engine components
- Perform checks, measurements, and testing after repairs or overhauls
- Maintain tools and report damaged equipment when necessary
- Prepare spare parts requests based on inspections conducted
- Support preventive maintenance on customer equipment
- Carry out field repairs and servicing at customer locations
- Ensure the workplace remains clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety regulations and use safety equipment properly
- Stay updated on technical information, tools, and maintenance procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Must have completed NYSC
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Fresh graduates or candidates with not more than 3 years of related experience
- Good technical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work on-site and travel when required
