Job Description
Gilbert Igweka Global Concept Nigeria Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a passion for financial record management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring receivables, supporting collections activities, and maintaining accurate financial records to enhance cash flow and financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and payment histories.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and implement collection strategies to improve cash flow.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure timely payment recovery.
- Resolve customer payment disputes and account-related issues professionally.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Support the development and implementation of receivables management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports related to accounts receivable activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
