Job Description
Aquaagrico Farms is seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join its Greenhouse Irrigation and Fertigation Graduate Trainee Program. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in modern greenhouse agriculture, irrigation systems, and nutrient management.
Successful candidates will receive hands-on training from experienced local and international technical experts while supporting irrigation, fertigation, and greenhouse operations to ensure optimal crop performance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of greenhouse irrigation systems.
- Support nutrient mixing, fertigation dosing, and monitoring activities.
- Monitor irrigation schedules, water pressure, and distribution systems.
- Assist in maintaining pumps, filters, valves, drip lines, and related equipment.
- Support greenhouse climate monitoring and crop management activities.
- Maintain accurate operational records and daily reports.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Agronomist and technical supervisors.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and development programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Eng, B.Tech, or HND in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Technology, or related technical disciplines.
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in greenhouse farming and irrigation systems.
- Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems will be an added advantage.
- Disciplined, proactive, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a greenhouse environment.
