Job Description

Pulse Nigeria is currently recruiting qualified professionals to fill the positions of Communications Manager and Head of Revenue Growth. These roles offer exciting opportunities for individuals passionate about communications, digital marketing, business development, and revenue generation within a fast-paced media environment.

Available Positions

1. Communications Manager

The Communications Manager will be responsible for managing internal communications and strengthening Pulse Nigeria’s brand presence across professional platforms, particularly LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage LinkedIn and internal communication content.
  • Create compelling content including emails, presentations, company updates, and social media posts.
  • Coordinate communication calendars and content schedules.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to communicate company achievements and milestones.
  • Review and edit content to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
  • Monitor industry and LinkedIn trends to improve content effectiveness.
  • Support internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities.
  • Document meetings and track action items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification.
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing LinkedIn content and corporate communications.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and collaborative mindset.

2. Head of Revenue Growth

The Head of Revenue Growth will lead revenue generation initiatives, drive business expansion, strengthen client relationships, and develop growth strategies across Pulse Nigeria’s media and marketing business units.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic revenue growth plans.
  • Prepare customized proposals and client presentations.
  • Achieve monthly revenue and gross profit targets.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with key corporate stakeholders.
  • Drive client retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Establish partnerships with top-tier organizations across Nigeria.
Revenue Growth & Sales Leadership
  • Lead sales efforts and manage business development pipelines.
  • Negotiate and close high-value commercial deals.
  • Drive consistent achievement of sales and profitability targets.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop sales team members.
  • Monitor CRM activities and sales performance.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Market Development & Innovation
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Contribute to new product and campaign development.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking engagements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales leadership or business development.
  • Experience in Digital Media, Advertising, Marketing, SaaS, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and revenue growth strategies.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Experience using CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
