Job Description
Lush Hair Nigeria is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to join its Finance Department in Ikorodu, Lagos. This role is designed to develop future finance and treasury professionals through structured training, mentorship, and practical exposure across core finance functions.
The programme offers a clear career progression path toward senior finance roles, including Treasury Manager and Finance Manager positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in financial reporting, analysis, and preparation of management accounts.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Participate in treasury and cash management operations.
- Contribute to financial controls, compliance, and internal governance processes.
- Analyse financial data and prepare periodic reports for management decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business performance improvement initiatives.
- Engage in structured on-the-job training and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking & Finance, or related discipline.
- Must be ICAN qualified (ACA).
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow in a structured finance environment.
