Job Description
dsm-firmenich is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Trainee, Application (TTH, WACA). This one-year internship is designed to provide practical experience in flavor application, product development, and laboratory operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with Application Managers and Beverage & Sweet Goods teams to support product prototype development, laboratory activities, and customer project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the laboratory raw materials database containing approximately 2,000 stock items.
- Prepare product prototypes using approved formulations.
- Organize and update physical raw material samples to match the inventory database.
- Assist in sensory evaluation and tasting preparation.
- Participate in product tasting sessions alongside Application Managers to gain knowledge of flavor applications.
- Collaborate with Application Managers and Laboratory Technicians in executing customer project briefs.
- Support daily laboratory operations as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Must have completed ND II at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH).
- Must be available to participate in the internship for one year.
- Should possess good character and demonstrate professional conduct.
- Must be a hardworking individual with excellent teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a laboratory and product development environment.
