Job Description
As an E-commerce Sales Intern, you will support the E-commerce Sales Lead in driving digital sales growth and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role involves managing online orders, engaging prospective customers, coordinating deliveries, monitoring inventory, and supporting the overall efficiency of the e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete e-commerce order fulfillment process from purchase to delivery.
- Respond to customer inquiries and convert leads through WhatsApp Business and other online channels.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure online product listings remain accurate.
- Handle customer complaints and provide prompt, professional resolutions.
- Assist with updating product information, pricing, and promotional content.
- Maintain daily sales records and contribute to weekly performance reports.
- Support the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the e-commerce team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Social Media Marketing is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify sales trends and operational challenges.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to achieving team and organizational goals.
