Job Description
OEA Accounting Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join its team in Abuja. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career accounting professionals to gain practical experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, and auditing within a professional accounting environment.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals while supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support monthly accounting activities and financial reporting processes.
- Assist with tax compliance activities, including:
- Value Added Tax (VAT)
- Withholding Tax (WHT)
- Pay As You Earn (PAYE)
- Participate in audit assignments, fieldwork, and documentation.
- Ensure accounting records are organized, accurate, and up to date.
- Support other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
- Current NYSC Corps Members are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop professionally.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
