Job Description

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc is inviting applications for its Global Supply Chain Traineeship, a structured three-year development programme designed for high-potential graduates who want to build careers in supply chain management.

The programme provides participants with exposure to different areas of the supply chain through two major rotations. Trainees will begin with an operational role at one of the company’s production facilities before progressing into a global or functional role.

As a Global Supply Chain Trainee, successful candidates will work with multidisciplinary teams to improve organisational, technological and analytical processes. They will contribute to ensuring that products are produced, planned and delivered efficiently while balancing quality, cost and customer requirements.

Potential career assignments may include roles such as:

  • Packaging Team Leader
  • Demand Planner
  • Production or Supply Chain Planning Specialist
  • Other supply chain-related positions across production and corporate functions

The programme is designed to strengthen participants’ technical expertise, leadership capabilities, business understanding and managerial skills, providing a strong foundation for long-term career growth within the organisation.

Qualifications & Requirements

Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) degree in a supply chain-related discipline.
  • Between 0 and 2 years of professional work experience.
  • Strong academic performance from a recognised university.
  • A valid NYSC Discharge Certificate.
  • Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least five O’Level credits.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through relevant internships, extracurricular activities, volunteer engagements or previous work experience.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to relocate within Nigeria and internationally when required.
  • Ability to remain effective while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
