Job Description
The African Development Bank Internship Program 2026 offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on professional experience within the Bank’s departments. The internship provides valuable exposure to AfDB’s work in driving transformative projects across Africa.
Interns receive a monthly stipend and are covered by the Bank’s medical insurance scheme throughout the duration of their program. The initiative also serves as a recruitment pipeline for future talent within the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify for the AfDB Internship Program 2026, applicants must:
- Be nationals of an AfDB member country.
- Be aged between 18 and 30 years at the start of the internship.
- Be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program at a recognized institution, or have completed one within the past year.
- Provide proof of enrollment or a recent degree certificate.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one of AfDB’s official languages (English or French).
- Possess strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
