Job Description
The Schneider Electric 2026 Apprenticeship Programme is a 24-month Technical & Engineering initiative designed to provide young graduates with hands-on experience, professional training, and industry-recognized qualifications.
The programme is tailored for the Services Business Unit, where successful apprentices transition into Field Service Representative roles. Participants will gain exposure to real projects, customer interactions, and practical responsibilities that will shape their careers in engineering and energy management.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Schneider Electric products at customer sites.
- Perform product repairs and upgrades.
- Complete site risk assessments, reports, timesheets, and expense submissions.
- Support workflow and time management across project teams.
- Contribute to additional tasks and projects that support business operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be a 2025 graduate or awaiting graduation within the next 6 months.
- Minimum academic classification:
- First Class Honours (GPA 3.90 – 4.00) OR
- Second Class Upper Division (GPA 3.70 – 3.89).
- Relevant internship/industrial attachment experience in engineering environments (field service, maintenance, or technical support).
- Additional certifications/training will be an advantage (e.g., Electrical Safety, PLC Programming, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Renewable Energy Systems, IoT/Smart Systems).
