Job Description
The Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassador Program (FUCAP) is a one-year paid internship designed for graduates and undergraduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in supply chain and import/export operations.
Successful candidates will join the Import and Export (ImpEx) team, supporting logistics coordination, shipment tracking, documentation management, and stakeholder engagement across Unilever’s supply chain network. This internship provides hands-on exposure to international trade processes within a leading FMCG organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update shipment tracking systems from origin to final delivery
- Monitor container returns and invoice settlement processes
- Coordinate with clearing agents, suppliers, banks, and logistics partners
- Ensure shipping documents, permits, and certificates are complete and submitted on time
- Prepare, upload, and monitor document approvals in line with company procedures
- Track shipment timelines and escalate delays or compliance issues when necessary
- Support container deposit and bond tracking activities
- Assist with financial postings and supply chain process improvement initiatives
- Contribute to efficient import and export operations across the business
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be currently serving or have completed NYSC
- Available to work full-time throughout the one-year internship period
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent data analysis capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
