Job Description
The UNDP Internship Programme offers paid opportunities for undergraduate, graduate, and recent graduates to gain professional experience in global development.
Interns may work in various departments, supporting research, communications, legal services, climate initiatives, and digital innovation projects. The programme offers both onsite and remote internship placements depending on the specific role.

Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate programme (Master’s or higher)
- Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree programme
- Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or higher degree (must begin internship within one year of graduation)
Required Competencies
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural and politically sensitive environment
- Interest in global development and UN operations
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Strong IT and digital skills
- Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Illustrator, or InDesign (advantage)
- Fluency in English (required)
- Knowledge of French and/or Spanish (advantage)
Internship Benefits
- Monthly stipend (approximately $1,000 per month for Copenhagen duty stations
