Job Description
MacTay Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Clerk to support administrative and accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining records, handling correspondence, and assisting in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and reconcile invoices
- Support daily administrative duties, including filing and documentation
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in handling transactions
- Maintain proper organization of office and financial records
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients as necessary
- Support the accounts and finance team with related tasks
- Manage and respond to company emails promptly and professionally
Qualifications & Requirements
- OND / HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in accounting, clerical, or administrative roles
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision
- Proximity to work location is an advantage
