The Account Officer will be responsible for bank reconciliations, revenue reconciliation, sales analysis, and financial reporting. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records, resolving reconciliation issues, and supporting month-end financial reporting activities.
Job Description
Bank Reconciliation
Prepare bank reconciliations for Naira and Domiciliary accounts.
Review ERP reconciliations against bank statements.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
Transaction & Settlement Management
Coordinate responses to chargebacks and claims.
Resolve settlement issues relating to successful transactions.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly sales analysis for management reporting.
Reconcile total sales with bank collections.
Ensure accurate revenue reporting in financial statements.
Prepare month-end reconciliations and aging reports for:
Receivables
Sales Control
Revenue Accruals
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
Knowledge of bank reconciliation processes.
Ability to analyze financial data accurately.
Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
