FMR Agency is recruiting a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee financial operations within a structured retail environment.
The ideal candidate will manage daily financial records, prepare reports, reconcile transactions, supervise payroll, monitor vendor payments, and ensure accurate inventory and expense tracking. This role requires strong analytical ability, high attention to detail, and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting to support effective business decision-making.
Job Description
Prepare and analyze financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Reconcile daily cashier records, POS transactions, and banking activities
Maintain accurate financial databases for vendors and suppliers
Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering sales, expenses, petty cash, payables, and receivables
Manage payroll processing, salary payments, and statutory remittances
Conduct periodic financial audits and oversee inventory financial tracking
Ensure proper documentation of all financial activities
Qualifications & Requirements
OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in retail or supermarket operations
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
Experience in financial reporting, payroll management, and vendor reconciliation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
