Job Description
RNew Energies Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team in Ojodu, Lagos. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who is eager to develop practical experience within the renewable energy industry.
The successful candidate will support the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, utilizing accounting software, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Process and record financial transactions in line with company procedures.
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and record management.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting routine accounting activities.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Support the finance team with other accounting and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess the following:
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Fresh graduates and recently qualified accountants are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in basic accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of financial record-keeping principles.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Candidates residing within or close to the Ojodu axis will have an added advantage.
