Job Description
The Unit Accountant will be responsible for handling accounting and treasury operations at the unit level, ensuring proper management of financial transactions, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent accounting and treasury functions at the branch/unit.
- Safeguard the company’s financial and current assets.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Support the unit manager with financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Handle other financial tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Banking and Finance (minimum of Second Class).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of Accounting Software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong positive attitude and resilience.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
