Job Description
Petrogap is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer (Facility Management) to oversee its administrative and facility-related operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient office procedures, managing vendor relationships, overseeing utility and maintenance functions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the department’s annual budget
- Procure office supplies and consumables within budget and maintain usage records
- Implement and review office policies, standards, and procedures
- Develop and manage vendor selection criteria and supplier relationships
- Ensure prompt payment of utility bills (e.g., electricity, fuel, internet, DSTV, etc.)
- Oversee plant and machinery maintenance (including power generators
- Supervise support staff, customer service representatives, and security guards
- Conduct periodic appraisals of support staff and ensure high performance
- Maintain the company’s physical infrastructure and coordinate necessary repairs
- Design and manage an efficient, easily retrievable filing system
- Drive cost-effective process improvements across the admin and facility departments
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Professional certification in Administration or Facility Management is desirable
- 3–4 years of proven experience in facility management, procurement, and general administration
- Female candidates only (as specified by the employer)
- Age requirement: 27–35 years
