Job Description
First Standard Insurance Brokers Ltd is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to support business growth across the 20 Local Government Areas in Lagos State. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales, building client relationships, and expanding the company’s insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across assigned locations in Lagos State.
- Promote and sell insurance products to individuals and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate client records using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or other related/non-related disciplines.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or insurance brokerage (an advantage).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
