Job Description
The NMA Postgraduate Internship Program is designed to provide postgraduate students with practical industry exposure in a structured, professional environment.
The program allows participants to:
- Apply academic knowledge in real-world energy industry operations
- Gain technical and professional skills through hands-on assignments
- Work closely with experienced Chevron professionals
- Receive mentorship and structured learning support
- Contribute to ongoing projects aligned with their research or field of study
Interns will be assigned supervisors who will guide their daily tasks and overall development throughout the program.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen (studying locally or abroad)
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s, PhD, or postgraduate professional program
- Research or academic work must require industrial or practical experience
- Must provide a recommendation letter from their institution
- Must have relevant research area or field of interest aligned with the internship
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass all stages of the selection process
Program Duration
- Master’s students: 6–12 months
- Doctoral students: Up to 24 months
