Job Description
Julius Berger is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to oversee building construction projects in Lagos. The role involves supervising site activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring that construction work is executed efficiently and in line with technical specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities
- Ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Managing workforce and subcontractors on-site
- Overseeing structural work, including formwork and reinforcement
- Communicating effectively with project stakeholders and site teams
- Utilizing MS Office tools for reporting and documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completed training as a Foreman, Master Craftsman, or Construction Technician
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in executing complex building construction projects
- Strong technical knowledge of structural works, including formwork and reinforcement
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- English language proficiency at B2/C1 level
