Job Description
Goodnews Naija Podcast is seeking a Creative Design Intern to support its digital content and media production team. The role involves creating visual assets and assisting with multimedia content for social media platforms and digital campaigns.
The successful candidate will work closely with the creative team to design engaging graphics and assist with video editing to enhance the brand’s digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design visual graphics and digital assets for social media content.
- Assist with photo editing and graphic design projects using industry-standard software.
- Support video editing and motion graphics tasks when required.
- Ensure visual content aligns with the brand’s creative direction and storytelling style.
- Contribute ideas for social media campaigns and creative content trends.
- Work collaboratively with the content and production teams to deliver high-quality media materials.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of layout design, color theory, and typography.
- Familiarity with social media trends on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- A portfolio of creative work is required.
