Job Description
The Data Entry Officer (Goods Received Note – GRN) plays a vital role in inventory management and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all goods received, supporting seamless warehouse and procurement processes across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record and process details of all goods received into the company’s system
- Verify quantities, descriptions, and specifications of items against Goods Received Notes (GRN)
- Identify, report, and resolve discrepancies in incoming materials
- Maintain organised digital and physical records for audit and retrieval
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure all data entries are complete, error-free, and up-to-date
Qualifications & Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline
- Previous experience in data entry or an administrative role is an added advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
