Job Description
Avion Partners Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will provide support for internal financial operations and assist with client-related financial projects.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and business consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and process daily financial transactions, including journal entries, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist with reconciling bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities and reporting.
- Monitor petty cash and review business and travel expenses.
- Assist in budget tracking and expense management.
- Maintain and organize financial records, tax documents, and accounting files.
- Support senior accountants with financial analysis and reporting assignments.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal financial procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Or a related discipline.
Experience
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
- Applicants who have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme or possess an NYSC completion letter are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Google Drive
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be resident in Abuja.
