Job Description

The Head of HR will serve as the enterprise-wide people leader, driving HR strategy, culture transformation, and workforce effectiveness across the organization.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for aligning people strategy with business growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

▪️ Provide enterprise-wide HR leadership across all divisions
▪️ Lead and manage Divisional HR Managers
▪️ Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals
▪️ Drive organizational culture and employee engagement initiatives
▪️ Oversee performance management and employee relations
▪️ Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory standards
▪️ Implement scalable HR systems and policies
▪️ Partner with executives on workforce planning and talent strategy
▪️ Lead change management initiatives
▪️ Strengthen leadership capability across teams

🎓 Qualifications
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Psychology, or related field
✔️ Professional certifications such as Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Society for Human Resource Management, or Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (strongly preferred)

💼 Experience
✔️ Minimum 12 years progressive HR experience
✔️ At least 5 years in senior leadership roles
✔️ Proven experience managing large or multi-location HR teams
✔️ Strong track record in:
Culture transformation
Performance management
Employee relations strategy
✔️ Experience in retail, FMCG, or fast-paced environments is highly preferred
