About
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Civil Service Commission, established under the FCT Civil Service Commission Act of 2018, is responsible for overseeing the administration of civil servants in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory. The Commission manages appointments, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions. Unlike the Federal Civil Service Commission, its mandate is focused exclusively on the FCT public service.

Qualifications & Requirements
General Requirements (all applicants):
- Must be a Nigerian citizen.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (for applicable cadres).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and professional ethics.
- Computer literacy is an added advantage.
Role-Specific Requirements (examples):
- Medical Consultants: MBBS or equivalent with a postgraduate fellowship qualification (FMCP, FWACP, etc.); valid MDCN practicing license.
- Medical Laboratory Scientists: BMLS degree with registration and valid license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Nurses: RN/RM or BNSc. with registration from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria; specialty registration required for some roles.
- Biomedical Engineers: B.Eng./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering plus relevant certification.
- Ambulance Drivers: Minimum of SSCE with a valid driver’s license.
