Job Description
SLB is recruiting Field Engineer Trainees to join its operations team in Port Harcourt. This entry-level role is designed for recent engineering graduates who are eager to gain hands-on field experience, develop technical expertise, and work in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
As a trainee, you will support field operations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and learn to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative solutions for clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline such as:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Recent graduate with 0–2 years post-graduation experience
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
- Strong learning agility and adaptability to changing situations
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in English (written, verbal, and reading)
