Job Description
Bumpa is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer to lead its financial reporting function and enhance the accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, analysis, and budgeting, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory standards.
- Consolidate financial data across departments.
- Maintain robust internal controls and statutory compliance.
- Prepare financial statements and coordinate external audits.
Financial Analysis & Insights
- Deliver detailed financial analysis for senior leadership.
- Identify financial risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
- Provide recommendations to drive improved financial performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
- Collaborate with business units to align financial targets with corporate goals.
- Track financial performance and interpret variances.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Prepare reports and presentations for executives, investors, and regulators.
- Support cross-functional teams to improve reporting systems.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily finance team operations.
- Ensure workflow efficiency and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Promote a culture of professional excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (ACA/ACCA/CPA preferred).
- 6–8 years of experience in financial reporting at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel.
