Job Description
The Graduate Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and supporting procurement operations. The role requires strong communication skills, market awareness, and the ability to meet procurement targets efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Procurement, or a related discipline
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in procurement, sales, or marketing
- (Experience in scrap, recycling, or related industries is preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Professional, confident, and articulate when engaging suppliers and stakeholders
- Good knowledge of the Onitsha scrap market and local business environment is an added advantage
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, email, reporting tools)
- Ability to work independently and meet set targets
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
