Job Description
The Group Rewards & Performance Manager will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the organisation’s rewards and performance management frameworks. The role involves overseeing remuneration structures, managing performance processes, and supervising third-party labour contractors to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Rewards Management
- Develop and implement the Group’s reward strategy in partnership with the Head of Department.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and benefits.
- Manage remuneration structures and participate in salary surveys for competitiveness.
- Lead annual and ad-hoc salary review cycles.
- Monitor and control total employee cost within approved budget.
- Oversee external remuneration surveys and benchmark pay structures.
- Communicate reward strategies and total cost of employment to enhance transparency.
Performance Management
- Oversee the Group’s performance management framework and ensure compliance.
- Manage periodic, mid-year, and annual appraisal processes.
- Coach managers on effective performance discussions and appraisals.
- Support employees on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Third-Party Labour Management
- Supervise and evaluate third-party labour contractors for compliance and service quality.
- Monitor third-party headcount to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; HR certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in rewards and performance management.
- Proven experience in compensation, benefits, and performance frameworks within large or multinational organisations.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of reward and performance theories.
- Excellent Excel and data management skills.
- Strong vendor and project management capability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in complex, multicultural environments.
