Job Description
The Health Advisor will educate clients on preventive healthcare, promote healthy living, coordinate wellness services, and support client enrollment into the organization’s health and wellness programmes. The role focuses on client relationship management, health awareness, and wellness advocacy rather than medical diagnosis or treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate individuals and organizations on preventive healthcare practices.
- Register and onboard new clients into the organization’s programmes.
- Recommend suitable wellness packages based on clients’ health and lifestyle needs.
- Coordinate health screenings, wellness consultations, and appointments.
- Conduct follow-up activities to ensure clients complete their wellness programmes.
- Promote healthy nutrition, exercise, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Generate referrals and expand the organization’s client network.
- Maintain accurate client records and activity reports.
- Meet monthly client enrollment and performance targets.
- Participate in staff training, meetings, and community health awareness campaigns.
Qualifications & Requirements
- OND, HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent qualification.
- Background in Public Health, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Community Health, or another health-related discipline is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Experience in healthcare, sales, customer service, or community outreach is an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
