Job Description
NIPCO Gas Limited is seeking a proactive and highly skilled HSE Officer to support its health, safety, and environmental operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, leading incident investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and hands-on knowledge of fire protection, first aid, and workplace safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completed NYSC
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word
- HSE Level 3 (Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria) and/or IOSH, NEBOSH certification(s)
- Young, passionate, and talented
- Good understanding of Fire Protection in line with NFPA standards and local safety regulations
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR
- Proactive, self-driven, with excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to commute to the assigned location daily
- Ability to conduct inspections, incident investigations, and facility audits
- Knowledge of road safety principles
- Strong reporting and organizational skills
