Job Description
🏠 Design Development
▪️ Develop interior design concepts and plans based on client needs, available space, and project budget
▪️ Create attractive and practical design solutions
👥 Client Consultation
▪️ Meet with clients to understand their goals, preferences, budget, and timelines
▪️ Present design ideas and recommendations clearly
📐 Space Planning
▪️ Create functional layouts that maximize space and usability
▪️ Ensure aesthetic balance and efficient flow
🎨 Material & Furnishing Selection
▪️ Select furniture, fabrics, colors, lighting, and décor elements
▪️ Source and order furnishings, finishes, and accessories from suppliers
🖥️ 2D/3D Design & Visualization
▪️ Use design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
▪️ Produce detailed drawings, renderings, and 3D models
📋 Project Management
▪️ Oversee project timelines and budgets
▪️ Coordinate implementation to ensure designs are executed properly
🤝 Collaboration & Site Visits
▪️ Work with architects, contractors, and other professionals
▪️ Conduct site inspections during and after construction to ensure quality and design compliance
🔍 Trend Awareness
▪️ Stay updated on current interior design trends, materials, and technologies
Qualifications & Requirements
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
✔️ 2–5 years of experience in interior design or related work
✔️ Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Revit
• Adobe Creative Suite
✔️ Strong visualization and spatial planning skills
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔️ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
✔️ Strong attention to detail and creative thinking
⭐ Preferred (Not Required):
Certification by NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) or equivalent
